The Whale & the Florist
The Whale & the Florist is a lighthearted adventure set in the Brooklyn Tropic, an island chain made from my favorite NYC neighborhoods. In this 67-page graphic novel a brave florist named Meno chases her destiny and finds true love while trying to save Coney Island from the dreaded Smokey Whale.
Everything is everything and the Strawberry Elephant is everywhere. Featuring Aesop’s Tortoise and Hare, this little parable was inspired by a Buddhist fable, hand-illustrated in Brooklyn to celebrate wisdom, diversity and curiosity.
Classical hero or mythic supervillain, the purple tiger smashes the patriarchy when she challenges the Sun to a race around the world. This fully illustrated fable drives the entire series, teaching the virtues of power, dedication, ambition and control.
The Black Sage keeps a secret that will change the Jungle forever. Peter Panther rebels against the tiger’s rule and ventures east to the Floating Island, where his strength, courage and faith will be tested.
Jungle of Claws & Teeth
This illustrated fable series is romping with Greek and Hindu philosophy along with purple tigers, black panthers & strawberry elephants. “The Jungle of Claws & Teeth” features an all-animal cast of characters who explore myth and legend through a series of interconnected stories.
